How To Be Successful With Hypnotherapy
Success with Hypnotherapy
For hypnotherapy to be successful it takes belief, intelligence, imagination with motivation and you must get to the trance state by relaxing your mind and body and by-passing your concious mind allowing you to work with the subconscious mind to make positive suggestions to make positive changes.
Individuals may feel disappointed and say, “I didn’t feel like I was under hypnosis.” This is because of all the amateur stage hypnosis. They expect their eyes to close automatically and expect to feel a floating or tired state. Despite this, their target symptoms seem to get better within a few days. This may actually be good treatment with hypnotherapy.
Everyone experiences a trance in their own way. Many people especially children, do not close their eyes or stay seated, during the hypnosis. Some people may continue their work consciously or unconsciously after they leave the session. Other individuals consider medical hypnosis a failure because they have unrealistic expectations or goals.
Many hypnotherapist believe that individuals who become intensely absorbed in an activity or day dreaming make the best subjects when undergoing hypnotherapy.Trance states can happen spontaneously both while undergoing hypntherapy and in everyday life. Both children and adults can become so absorbed in day dreaming that they lose track of what is going on around them. Many people unconsciously use daydreams to devert their lives from undesirable aspects of their existence.
The most difficult subjects to successfully undergo hypnotherapy are the high IQ types of people who tend to overly analyze everything and you cannot get to a hypnotic trance this way. But if they can let go of the analytics, even they can reach a hypnotic state. Low intellect types are at the oposite end of the spectrum and it is nearly impossible to bring them to a hypnotic trance.
