Being able to learn the ropes of putting yourself into brief hypnotic states will benefit you and make you more prepared for the state of mind that is needed for the longer sessions you’ll do in the future. If you try to work too quickly, you’ll lose focus for truly being able to hypnotize yourself and you’ll be spending the whole time thinking about it not working and how you had hoped it would work.
Many people think that self hypnosis works well before bedtime or first thing in the morning when you wake up. The reality of the matter is that if you are already exhausted you are more apt to just go to sleep than you are to reach a state of hypnosis. This is the reason that hot shots of hypnosis say that it works most excellently during the time of the day that you are most alert. The more clever and aware you are, the less work it’ll take for you to compose your mind and body, stay on top of your breathing and actually be alert to the issues that you are wanting to work through while in session.
Self Hypnosis definately does not need to be extra hard. The fact is it can be quite rewarding when you are able to get a hold on the issues really bothering you.
